Endlich mal konkrete Zahlen zu diesem Thema:

13,7 % der Handynutzer surfen auch mobil im Netz. Das ergab eine repräsentative Befragung von TNS Emnid. Der Anteil ist im Verlauf des Jahres 2007 von 4,0 auf den aktuellen Wert gestiegen.

Hmm, ich habe gerade die Gesamtzahl der Handynutzer natürlich nicht parat, aber ich glaube, die Durchdringung liegt doch statistisch bei über 100% der Bevölkerung. 13,7% ist also absolut betrachtet eine ganze Menge.

Wenn das Wachstum so weiterginge, dann wären das Ende dieses Jahres knapp 40%.

Die Penetrationsrate bei Mobilfunkteilnehmern liegt sogar, laut aktuellen Zahlen der Bundesnetzagentur (3.Q 2007), bei knapp 110%. Dies wäre aber aus meiner Sicht die falsche Basis. Besser ist es sicherlich, sich die Anzahl der UMTS-Handys in Deutschland anzusehen, denn die wenigsten werden wohl via GPRS mobil Surfen. Diese liegt derzeit bei ca. 10 Millionen und soll bis Jahresende auf 16 Millionen steigen. Geht man nun also von den 10 Millionen UMTS-Handys aus, so kommt man auf 1,37 Millionen Nutzer. Ganz so viel ist das ja dann doch nicht.
